This sled is one like many you will see used in Iditarod and the Yukon Quest. Doug Swingley used this same sled for three years to run the entire route of the Iditarod. The sled can be built for you with either Rex runners or Matrax runners. These sleds come with plastic handlebars for added flexibility. | |
| You can have your choice of either a 5' bed or a 5'4" bed. Either can be made of plastic or wood slats. On the longer bed sled we can add another front stantion for those who feel they need extra support for heavier loads. Both come with brake, dragmat, footboards..ready to use. |  |

SIT DOWN SLEDS: |

| This sit down cargo sled was used the whole way by three mushers in the 2008 Iditarod. It has the front end of our Iditarod models. The removable "caboose" behind the handlebar has a seat that encases either a 24 quart cooler or a five gallon bucket. There is a backrest and another bag behind that. The sled comes with 9' Rex runners or heavy weight TM matrix runners. The front bed is 4' 2" long. The standing area is 28". The carried weight is distributed over the whole sled. This sled and 3 bags weigh approximately 42 lbs. |  |

SUPER FLEX SLEDS: |

This sled allows more flex in the runners from tip to tail for a smoother ride over moguls and rough spots. The stantion coming all the way down to the front of the runners makes it possible to achieve better edge control even with a load. This sled comes with a 1/8th inch UHMW bottom. You get your choice of brake. It comes with great footboards and a bridle - ready to head down the trail. You choose Matrax or Rex runners. This sled is our most popular model. |

Plastic Bottom Sleds:This is our plastic bottom sled. We use 1/8th inch UHMW plastic. These beds are hand tied to the frame using braided nylon cord. When your sled needs varnishing, these beds are easily removed and retied. |

Our Rocket sleds are great for sprints, mid-distance and the finish of distance races. They come with either matrax or laminated wood runners. You have your choice of a plastic or a wood slat bed. All have plastic handle bars for super flexibility. A narrow brake and dragmat are included. See the replacement parts page for pictures of these options. All come with a deluxe two zipper sled bag. Each bag has a pocket inside for holding your mittens or lunch. |

SPRINT SLEDSOur sprint sleds are made of mostly laminated parts. The runners are shaped with camber, like a ski. This allows the front to carve on the turns. Runners, brush bow and side rails are laminated. Each sled comes complete with brake, footboards and bridle - Ready to use. The price includes your choice of color sled bag. The bags have breather holes in the sides and back. There is a dog tie down in the bag corner. |
