WOODEN RUNNERS

Our wood runners are laminated with 5 1/4" white ash strips. We use the best West Systems epoxy and add carbon fibers between each laminate. Runners can be ordered in either 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" width. The length of the runners can vary from 7'6" to 10'.

BACK STANTIONS

Back stantions are laminated using the same system for strength and durability as our other laminated pieces. The stantion has a small piece glued to the side by the mortis. This is a particular stress point for the sled. The addition of this "cleet" has cut down on breakage in that susceptible area.
$100.00 for a pair

BRAKES & DRAG MATS

Over the last ten years we have been experimenting with many systems. Our friend and engineer, Chuck Cappuccino, has been designing and manufacturing the two systems that we feel work well for any type of racing. Both systems are pictured.

The narrow brake works good with the wider mat. This system is great for sprint and stage stop type racing. The mat has a bungee that works as a counter balance. It allows the mat to flip up when not needed.
Our wider brake and narrower mat are ideal for Iditarod and any other race that has trails with stumps and lots of brush. The drag mat is attached to the back cross member of your sled and will ride over anything on the trail.

The mats are equipped with ice studs for grasping on hard trails. Our brakes are rust proof aluminum bars. They have stainless steel claws with extra hard carbon tips.
Either system $200.00

BRUSH BOWS

We make a completely crash proof 1/4" UHMW plastic brushbow. The 19 3/4" wide bow has three 3" holes that lighten it up and provide a place to attach bridle, snowhook and snub ropes.    $100.00
